Melody

Melody is the youngest sister of Lilithzplug. Nicknamed “Mel,” she openly embraces her neurodivergence, reflecting the creator in real life, and is recognized for her cute, quirky, and delightfully weird-girl energy. She has a voluminous, blonde curly afro—her choice to dye her hair wasn’t to separate herself from her identical sisters, but rather to express her individuality both in the Lilithzplug lore and in real life.

Melody loves music deeply and is often found blasting songs through her headphones, either to self-soothe or spark inspiration. She stims frequently to Lilithzplug’s music, and many of the group’s catchiest ad-libs come from her.

Her personality shifts between introverted and extroverted depending on the day, echoing traits of Delirium from The Sandman. She walks through life with an imaginative and whimsical sense of expression.

Musically, she’s especially known for her vocals in genres like bedroom pop, indie, soft rock, ambient, and drum & bass. Melody is imaginative, unique, inspiring, and loving.

Inspired by the creator herself, Melody represents the inner child within Amara’s psyche—an embodiment of her childlike wonder and joy.

There are a lot of misconceptions about Lilithzplug—one of the most common being: “Is Lilithzplug AI, along with the music?”

The answer is no. Melody and her sisters are not AI-generated characters. They were originally created as animated models using The Sims 4 rigs in Blender 3D. For the Once Upon a Time album, the models were further sculpted and refined. These days, they’re fully hand-drawn and digitally illustrated. I tend to switch between 3D and 2D styles depending on the project, but no matter the medium, my goal is to build a brand where the girls remain recognizable in any animated form. Lilithzplug music is not AI and was written and performed by Amara Robins, the creator of Lilithzplug in real life.

Here are some examples of Melody in both 3D and 2D formats.
